2. In which areas of police duty do you feel that it is especially important to make
improvements for the good of the Service?

Training. Recruit Officers (senior ranks) from overseas.
Investigation – Narcotics – ability and desire to go
beyond superficial inquiry. The department is too
prepared to accept what lands in its lap.

Court work would improve an officer’s all round ability.
In the Metropolitan police force we had to prosecute
Our own cases and it is a good confidence and
Knowledge exercise.
