WILLIAM ANTHONY BRANGMAN,
20 ROCKAWAY DRIVE, APT NO 3,
SOUTHAMPTON.
BORN. 12.11.65.
OCC. DEPT AG & FISHERIES.

Anthony, I want to ask you some questions regarding what I believe was a shipment of controlled drugs that were delivered to a house on Seymore Farm Road.  Before I say anything to you, I must advise you that you are not obliged to say anything unless you wish to do so, and that whatever you do say may be taken down in writing and given in evidence.  Do you understand.
Yea.  Anthony Brangman              DS31
Anthony, am I correct in saying that you have already spoken with a lawyer.
Yeah.
How long have you lived at Rockaway.
About a year and a half.
And who do you live there with.
My brother and his girlfriend.
Is that your permanant residence.
Yeah.
Do you have any other residences that you stay at.
Yeah, Seymore Farm.
Where at Seymore Farm.
Apt No 1, but I don`t know the house number to tell you the truth.
Are you referring to an apt. on Seymore Farm Road, Southampton.
Yeah.
Can you describe the apartment for me.
A white apartment with black blinds.
What about the interior.
A three room apt.  A small kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.
Do the apartments or building have a name.

Yeah.  Wilkinson`s Apt`s.
Do you know who owns the apartments.
Yice and Linda Wilkinson.
And do you rent the apartment from them.
No, my cousin does.
Who is your cousin.
Barry Wellman.
And does he stay at the apt.
Sometimes.
And when do you stay there.
Most of the time when he`s not there.
Does Barry have another residence.
He stays with his girlfriend sometimes.
Who is that.
Verna Lee.
And where does she live.
Down Baileys Bay.
So what arrangement do you have with Barry.
He lets me stay there when he`s not.
How do you know when he`s not staying there.
We communicate with each other.
Do yous tay there for weeks at a time or just the occasional night.
It depends, he comes back up there mostly week days and sometimes it`s weekends.
When was the last time you stayed up there.
Last week.
When last week.
All of last week.
Did you stay there Wednesday night.
I can`t remember.  Days I`m there cause I`m off sick and evenings I go Somerset.
Did you stay there Thursday evening.
Every evening I go to Somerset.  I leave the Apt 4.30 pm and go Somerset.  I do satellite work there on the side.
So you don`t sleep at the apt.
Yeah.  Every night last week I slept there.
Do you pay Barry any rent.

No he pays the rent.
Do you pay him anything.
I pay for the phone and electric light.
When did you first start staying there.
A few months before Xmas.
How do you get in and out of the apt.
I have a key.
Wher is that key now.
It`s up Somerset.
How did you get in the apt. Thursday evening.
With my key.
Who else has keys for the place.
As far as I know, Barry and myself.
Do you know of any work being done around the apt.
No.
Has Barry said he was having anything done like asphalting at the apt.
He hasn`t mentioned nothing to me.
Does the side window lock.
Yes it locks.
Do you leave it locked.
No.
Why not.
I never leave it locked.  To air the place up.
On Thursday just gone, can you recall what time you left the apt.
About 4.15 pm.
Do you own anything in the apt.
My clothes and the telephone and answer machine are mine and a bag of tubes.
Nothing else in there is yours.
No.  The rest of the stuff is Barry`s or belongs in the apt.
Did you lock your door Thursday when you left.
Yeah.
Do you know Wallace Wellman.
Yes.
Do you know Everette Wellman.
Yes.
When was the last time you spoke with them.

Last weekend.
What was that about.
I just saw them.  I just stopped by the shop.
So you didn`t know they would be at the apt. Thursday evening.
No.
They never mentioned they might be going there.
No.
Is there a spare key inside the apt.
Yeah.
Where is that left.
On the table.
Why is that left there.
In case one of us lose one.
How would that help if it is inside the apt.
I leave the key on the table and if I lose my key I get a key from Barry.
So how does it help you by leaving that key on the table.
It`s a spare key.
Do you know Norman Wellman.
No.
Have you ever spoken with him.
Never heard of him.  Never spoken with him.
Is there anything else you want to say.
No.
READ RECORD OVER TO BRANGMAN
