To:    Commissioner of Police
Attn:    Supt Birmingham

Date    23 August 1990

Subject    Angela TRAPASSO - MIRANDA INVESTIGATION

Sir,

Angel Trapasso telephoned me at 1430hrs today with the following information:

1
MARCUS COHAB, HUGO MATA and LUIS APARICIO (the Cuban Brothers) are all very familiar with Bermuda.  APARICIO was here in November 1989 using MIRANDA'S identity.  They are planning to break MIRANDA out of prison as he knows everything about their operation and is a great threat to them.  There is no price on his head at present.  TRAPASSO was given this information by ROSALVA MIRANDA before her release on 17/8/90.

The 'Cuban brothers' all visit Bermuda using false I.D.'s.

2.
Deborah MORTON'S murder was a warning to TRAPASSO to remain silent, and she has been told she is next.

3.
Delroy Duncan (Hall's associate) is working for FRANK TASSONE in Florida and passes on all information to him.  TASSONE has visited TRAPASSO at the Co-Ed and told her to keep her mouth shut and do her time, otherwise she will be 'taken care of'.

4
TRAPASSO will help U.S. (DEA) to find 'Cuban Brothers' and HARRY OWENS through TASSONE as he knows of their whereabouts and has offered to return Harry OWENS (TRAPASSO's boyfriend and suspect for Morton's murder) to her when she gets out.

5.
Sge wants to see ** and U.S. (DEA) agents but under no circumstances her lawyer or any other police officer as she does not trust anyone else.

6.
TRAPASSO wishes to 'tell all' about her involvement in the MIRANDA investigation.  She also states that the main Bermudians involved are ANTHONT FARIES and DAVID FARIES? (golf pro at major hotel).

Anthony could be the 'Anthony' mentioned in ALONGI's statement in Monmouth County Gaol.

7.
TRAPASSO is in great fear of her life and does not feel secure in the CO-ED facility.  She feels that the people she is remaining silent for are not worth protecting as they will kill her anyway.

8.
TRAPASSO requests that when she is interviewed by the DEA, that it be outside the prison.
